Depressed with life because of wife's infidelity, young man involved in drugs gets sentenced

(Baonghean.vn) - When he heard that his wife had a lover, Hoang Van Hai (living in Quy Hop district, Nghe An) refused to work, gathered with a group of bad friends, got involved with the "brown fairy" and became an addict, caught in the net with the crime of "illegal possession of drugs".

On the afternoon of March 26, the People's Court of Thai Hoa town just tried the criminal case against Hoang Van Hai (born in 1991), residing in Bac Son hamlet, Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district, for the crime of"illegal possession of drugs".

According to the indictment,Hoang Van Hai is a drug addict. At around 12 noon on January 20, 2018, Hai took a bus alone from Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district to Quy Hop town to buy drugs for use.

Hai bought from a man (Hai did not know the name or address of this man) a plastic bag containing transparent crystal particles about 2 x 2.5cm in size, which was crystal meth, for 500,000 VND.

After buying the drugs, Hai hid them in his jacket pocket and took the bus from Quy Hop town to Thai Hoa town to find a place to use the drugs.

At 3:30 p.m. the same day, when the car reached the intersection of Kim Tan block, Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town, Hoang Van Hai got out of the car and walked to find a motel to use drugs. He was discovered by the Thai Hoa town police working group and asked to check, and found a plastic bag in Hai's shirt pocket.

Thai Hoa town police have drawn up a record of the incident and sealed the evidence to serve the investigation. Through examination, the transparent plastic package containing transparent crystalline particles seized from Hoang Van Hai was synthetic drug (Methamphetamine), weighing 0.41 grams.

The above behavior of Hoang Van Hai violated the crime of illegal possession of drugs.

It is known that Hoang Van Hai used to have a wife and 2 children - a boy and a girl. But when the eldest son was about to enter first grade and the second child started crawling, his wife left home. Bored, but inherently gentle and hard-working, Hai still worked hard to earn money to raise his children. Hai kept hoping that his wife would return until one day, Hai received pictures of his wife's debauchery sent via Facebook messages, saying that she was somewhere far away with her lover.

Stunned by the truth, Hai turned into a completely different person: depressed, refusing to work, hanging out with bad friends, relatives' advice was useless until he fell into the net of the law.

At the end of the trial, the panel sentenced Hoang Van Hai to 15 months in prison.
