Paying 67 billion VND in compensation for site clearance on National Highway 1A in Quynh Luu district
After 1 month of implementation, up to now, the progress of payment of compensation for site clearance (GPMB) of National Highway 1A in Quynh Luu district has reached more than 97%.
Specifically, the Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council of Quynh Luu district informed that up to now, this locality has paid 67 billion VND out of the total 69 billion VND of funding allocated in this period.
Previously, on September 19, 2024, the People's Council of Quynh Luu district issued Resolution No. 19/NQ-HDND allocating 69 billion VND to the District Land Acquisition and Clearance Council to pay households affected by the 2014 National Highway 1A Renovation and Expansion Project (including late payment fees).

After starting payment from October 3, 2024, as of November 4, 2024, the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district has disbursed 67 billion VND to 279 households/279 land plots eligible for compensation and support in Quynh Van, Quynh Hong, and Quynh Hau communes.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Thanh - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quynh Luu district, said: It is expected that from now until December 31, 2024, the remaining amount of VND 49,953 billion will be paid, corresponding to 130 plots of land/130 households. Of which, VND 6,012 billion is according to the Decision approved in 2020 but there is still a lack of funds so it has not been paid to households; VND 21,809 billion has been approved in 2024 but has not been paid; and VND 22,132 billion according to the review conclusion, currently, the Land Acquisition Council is making a compensation and support plan.
