Afternoon of June 21: Nghe An has 2 new Covid-19 infections

Patient NTT, female, born in 1952, living on Kim Dong Street, Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City. On June 19, the patient had symptoms of sore throat, cough, headache, body aches... So on June 21, the patient went to TTH Hospital and was tested rapidly with two positive results. The hospital sent the test sample to the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control for confirmation. The test result at 4:15 p.m. confirmed that patient NTT was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Medical declaration and initial investigation results show: From June 20 onwards, the patient only stayed at home. Only went to Quang Trung market once every 2-3 days. In the past 4 days, patient NTT did not go anywhere... Thus, patient NTT related to the location announced by patient 13288 on June 21, 2021 had been to Quang Trung market, Vinh city.

Initially, 6 people were identified as F1 cases of patient NTT. The Provincial Center for Disease Control and Vinh City Medical Center are continuing to investigate and trace F1 and F2 cases.

Two new patients were announced this afternoon, Nghe An now has 33 patients.Covid-19. Of which, Vinh city has 21 cases, Dien Chau district has 9 cases, Quy Hop district has 1 case, Tan Ky district has 1 case and Nam Dan district has 1 case.

Earlier in the morning, the Nghe An Department of Health announced four new Covid-19 cases, including three in Vinh city and one in Nam Dan district./.
