At 6:30 p.m. on April 4, 2011, at the construction site of the Nam Dan Sluice and Canal System Upgrade and Expansion Project (Xuan Hoa Commune, Nam Dan District), a landslide suddenly occurred on the foundation pit upstream of the sluice and the boat lock with a rather large slope, causing the tourist route along the Lam River to be blocked. Fortunately, when the incident occurred, there were no vehicles passing through and it was during the construction break, so there were no casualties.
