(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 14, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to review the tasks of natural disaster prevention, fire and explosion prevention, search and rescue in 2016; guarding and stationing work and deploying tasks in 2017.

In 2016, the provincial armed forces and military forces stationed in the area mobilized 7,815 people; 110 cars; 26 boats; 3 fire-fighting vehicles and many personal vehicles to fight fires, forest fires, search and rescue and overcome the consequences of incidents.

Nghe An is still identified as a key area for floods, storms, flash floods and forest fires.
