Towards the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020), on the morning of November 14, Hamlet 6, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District organized the National Great Unity Day. Hamlet 6, Nghi Phong commune was merged on the basis of 2 hamlets Phong Hop and Phong Yen with a total of 257 households and nearly 1,000 people.

In 2020, implementing the campaign "All people"unite"Building new rural areas and civilized urban areas" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, cadres and people of all walks of life in the hamlet have united to promote economic development through introducing a number of new economic models and new varieties into production; especially expanding and developing industries, services, and trade, increasing income.

Average income per capita reached more than 40 million VND/year; the poverty rate decreased to 1.2%.

Currently, the hamlet has built a cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movement that has developed widely among all classes of people, associated with building a cultural and civilized lifestyle.

During the year, cadres and people in the hamlet united to contribute to the construction of new rural areas with more than 170 million VND; actively supported campaigns and movements launched by all levels such as supporting the Fund for the Poor, supporting the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and supporting the people of the Central region affected by floods...
