The President promoted Mr. Trinh Van Quyet to the rank of Senior Lieutenant General.
President Vo Van Thuong presented the decision to promote the rank from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
On the morning of August 8, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Chairman of the National Defense and Security Council, presented the decision to promote the rank from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General to Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army Trinh Van Quyet.
Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet (born 1966), hometown Thanh Ha, Hai Duong.
He worked for many years in Military Region 2.
In January 2021, he was elected as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Four months later, he was appointed Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc was awarded the title Hero of the Armed Forces.
