Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee: The 50th anniversary of Truong Bon victory must create a good impression
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 22, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television and related departments, branches and localities to listen to reports on the progress and results of organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Truong Bon victory.
Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy-Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Que Dinh Nguyen - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper co-chaired the meeting.

The meeting heard the Department of Culture and Sports - the standing agency of the Organizing Committee - report on the progress and results of implementing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Truong Bon victory.
Accordingly, the Organizing Committee has deployed propaganda work on mass media; visual propaganda with banners, flags, and streamers.
As part of the celebration activities, the Organizing Committee held the 50th death anniversary of 13 youth volunteer martyrs of Company 317 on October 18 at Truong Bon Historical Site; launched a campaign to compose songs about Truong Bon on October 8.

At the same time, we will organize a Youth Camp and display products of youth volunteers and youth union members participating in socio-economic development; implement the project "Youth Garden" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Truong Bon victory; and hold a workshop "Truong Bon - Historical value, preservation and promotion".
At the meeting, the meeting participants reported specifically on the progress of the activities undertaken by their sectors and units; and at the same time gave comments on the content of the art program; the composition of guest delegates; the mobilization of forces to participate in the celebration; the power supply plan; security and order assurance; logistics, reception of delegates... and proposed plans to serve the celebration.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Culture - Sports to preside over the press conference to unify the propaganda content; arrange a separate area for reporters to work; especially strengthen the propaganda work, widely promote the activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Truong Bon Victory; the cultural and historical values of Truong Bon national historical relic site.
The conclusion of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy emphasized: The organization of the celebration must ensure safety, economy, thoughtfulness and at the same time must be very solemn, leaving a good impression on delegates and people inside and outside the province as well as international friends.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that the electricity sector, the police sector, the Department of Transport, the Military Command, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union... should uphold their spirit and responsibility to perform well their assigned tasks, especially the issue of security and order, and must have plans... to successfully organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Truong Bon victory./.
This is the third year that Nghe An province has coordinated with Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Television to organize the Anniversary Ceremony with an art program right at Truong Bon National Historical Site. Nhan Dan Newspaper will sponsor the design, construction of the stage and the entire art program. The program will be broadcast live on VTV1 and NTV channels for 90 minutes at 8:00 p.m. on November 3, 2018.
