Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong: 'If residential areas are strong, communes, districts and provinces will be strong'

(Baonghean.vn) - Sharing the joy of the National Great Unity Festival with the people of Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune, Nam Dan district, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Promoting the great unity of the entire nation must start from great unity at the grassroots level; if the residential area is strong, the commune, district and the whole province will also be strong.

On the morning of November 10, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the National Great Unity Day of Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune, Nam Dan district to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2016).

Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front, leaders of Nam Dan district and many people of Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune.

Delegates from Nam Dan province and district attended the Great Unity Day in Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune.

Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune, Nam Dan district has 151 households. In addition to agricultural production, the hamlet has formed many additional jobs such as raising livestock, poultry, milling, producing wood products, working as construction workers and trading consumer goods; participating in labor export. Therefore, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, there are no more hungry households in the hamlet, the poverty rate is only 5.7%, near-poor households account for 4.5%, the rate of cultural families reaches 87.4%.

The people are united and actively compete to build new rural areas and build a cultural lifestyle; in which, the people of Da Cat hamlet have contributed a lot of money and working days such as contributing 436 million to build a cultural house, 1.75 billion VND to build roads, 530 million to upgrade the football field, build 6km of concrete roads...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the photo of 'Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton' to the people of Da Cat hamlet.

Congratulating the achievements of Da Cat hamlet in recent times, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong suggested that the hamlet's people continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, mutual assistance, helping each other to develop production, building a cultural life in the residential area to become more and more progressive and prosperous. To do so, the most important thing is that Da Cat hamlet, Nam Cat commune must continue to strengthen and promote great national unity, starting from great unity at the grassroots level.

"If the residential area is strong, the commune, district and the whole province will also be strong. Conversely, if the district, commune and residential area are strong, each family will also be strong. The Party Committee and the Fatherland Front must do a good job of leading and mobilizing people to compete in labor, production and ensuring social security. The government, cadres and party members in the commune need to uphold their responsibility to serve the people, respect, listen and promptly resolve the legitimate aspirations of the people" - the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong presented gifts to poor households in Da Cat hamlet.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong also suggested that Nam Cat commune in general and the people of Da Cat hamlet in particular need to well implement the 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

At the same time, the Party Committee, the government and the Fatherland Front need to propagate and raise awareness among each citizen about the role and tasks of the Front and the meaningful purpose of this movement, in order to create high consensus and unity within the Party and all classes of people, to join hands in building new rural areas and civilized residential areas, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Particularly mentioning the increase in income for people in the construction of new rural areas, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: In addition to developing agricultural production, households need to continue investing in developing household economy such as raising livestock and poultry; forming quality construction worker teams and groups; participating in labor export.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong believes that, with its tradition and high spirit of solidarity, Da Cat hamlet will be a bright spot that will spread to many other residential areas in the area.

On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong presented a photo of "Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton" and 5 million VND to Da Cat hamlet, 10 gifts for poor households and planted a souvenir tree in the hamlet's cultural house.
