In particular, in the field of agriculture and forestry, Tan Ky has made quite comprehensive progress, focusing on the application of science and technology in production, many effective models. The implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Development has achieved positive results in the context of a mountainous district. In the first 6 months of 2016, Tan Ky has developed 22 projects, resolutions and plans to implement the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels. Accordingly, the district's socio-economic situation continues to achieve some remarkable results. The total production value is estimated at nearly 2.5 trillion VND, up 8.5% over the same period and equal to 51.8% of the plan. Budget revenue reached more than 20 billion VND. The total value of industrial and construction production is estimated at nearly 1.2 trillion VND, up 11.2% over the same period and equal to 52.6% of the plan. The total value of the service industry is estimated at nearly 604 billion VND, up 10.4% over the same period and equal to 53.2% of the plan. Total food output was 39,423 tons, an increase of 3,633 tons over the same period and equal to 63% of the plan. The quantity and quality of the total livestock and poultry increased. According to the survey results on April 1, 2016, the cattle herd increased by 5.9% (Sind crossbred cattle increased by 8.2%); buffalo increased by 1%; poultry increased by 7.2%; the output of fresh meat for slaughter was estimated at 4,568 tons, an increase of 3% over the same period. Tan Ky also directed and successfully organized the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term with a voter turnout rate of 97.7%; at the same time, it reorganized the apparatus at all levels in accordance with regulations; successfully deployed the application of e-government software in the departments and offices of the District People's Committee. People's lives and spiritual culture continue to improve. Political security and social order and safety are maintained. |
