At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Van Hai - Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center reported the results of the unit after nearly 5 months of operation.

Although newly established, the Center has closely coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Department of Planning and Investment and other relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Committee to successfully organize the Spring Meeting with Investors in Dinh Dau 2017.

From the results of the meeting with investors so far, the Investment Promotion and Support Center has closely coordinated with relevant departments, branches and sectors, connecting with investors and partners who have signed investment cooperation agreements, and awarded Investment Registration Certificates at the Conference to implement the next steps according to the committed schedule.

At the same time, the Center coordinated with VSIP Nghe An Company Limited to directly participate in investment promotion seminars in Malaysia and Hong Kong to call for and promote businesses to invest in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park. At the same time, introduce and promote the image, potential and strengths of Nghe An province to attract investment to international friends.

The Center has advised provincial leaders to organize direct working sessions with partners from Japan, the US, Poland, and South Korea to learn about the investment and business environment in Nghe An.

Regarding tasks in the coming time, the Center continues to implement solutions to strongly improve the investment and business environment; improve the provincial competitiveness index.

At the working session, the Investment Promotion and Support Center recommended that provincial leaders, departments, branches, and localities continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Center to soon stabilize and operate effectively.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong said that the establishment of the Investment Promotion and Support Center under the Provincial People's Committee aims to provide an increasingly better administrative and investment environment for the business community and investors, and improve the provincial competitiveness index.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The province's major goal is to create a better investment and business environment. The establishment of the center will create a breakthrough in administrative reform, contributing to promoting investment promotion activities, exploiting the potential advantages of the province, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress and Resolution 26 of the Politburo.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center to promptly arrange and complete the apparatus to assign specific tasks and issue mechanisms and policies for the unit's staff of civil servants and public employees.

Assign the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to soon appoint the Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Center. Regarding mass organizations, request the Center to work with mass organizations to establish and perfect the unit's apparatus.

At the same time, the Center coordinated with the Department of Home Affairs to issue internal regulations, regulations on coordination with agencies and operating regulations to soon launch the Reception and Results Delivery Department under the One-stop mechanism at the new headquarters.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Center to advise on the 2017 investment promotion program and solutions to promote the province's investment; advise the Provincial People's Committee to build a website, propaganda activities, and images of Nghe An to promote investment attraction activities of the province.
