Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: All levels need to uphold discipline and responsibility in action

On the morning of February 10, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held an online conference to deploy the Front's work in 2020. Flexible in organization and implementation

Accordingly, the conference announced a number of directive documents of the Central Committee as well as requirements and tasks set for the Fatherland Front at all levels on propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of people of all walks of life; consolidating, enhancing, and promoting the strength of great national unity, building and defending the Fatherland.

The focus is on propagating the Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, towards the 13th National Party Congress; propagating and implementing the guidelines, policies, laws as well as the directions of the Party and State at all levels in each period, each specific issue in a timely, extensive and effective manner, creating social consensus to promote patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, creating common development of the country and each locality. This is a regular and important task of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels.

The Fatherland Front at all levels actively participates in contributing opinions to documents of Party congresses at all levels; participates in building mechanisms, policies and social criticism - affirming its role in representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

Monitoring activities focus on key contents: improving the investment and business environment, enhancing national competitiveness; resolving complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from voters and people; monitoring the implementation of the Resolutions of the 12th Party Central Committee Conference; administrative reform, measuring people's satisfaction; food safety and hygiene...

The implementation of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, focusing on the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; "Fund for the poor"; "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"... requires flexible implementation, suitable to the actual situation of each locality.

In conjunction with effectively implementing campaigns and emulation movements, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to pay attention to inspecting the mobilization and funds for the poor at all levels; evaluating the support for building solidarity houses to continue promoting the impact of support, creating conditions for the poor to improve their lives; paying attention to praising and rewarding organizations and individuals who have made many contributions to the fund for the poor as well as localities and households with models of sustainable poverty reduction.

Organize supervision and evaluation of cultural families and cultural residential areas to ensure that residential areas and families recognized as truly outstanding and exemplary cultural areas; supervise and evaluate poor households and truly poor households, overcome the situation of "competing" to register on the list of poor households; supervise the mobilization of resources for new rural construction... Go deep, closely grasp the situation of voters and people, promptly reflect to all levels and sectors to take action to resolve...

Decisive and decisive in action

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to clearly define its responsibilities and pay attention to implementing the Resolution of the congresses of the Front at all levels and the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2019 - 2024; linking the work of the Front with the propaganda of important events of the country and the 90th anniversary of the founding of the National United Front in 2020; participating in contributing documents to the Party congresses at all levels, towards the 13th National Party Congress; innovating the work of grasping the people's situation, listening, gathering and promptly reflecting the people's situation as well as voters' recommendations and reflections to propose and propose timely solutions...

In order for the 2020 Front's tasks to be effectively and substantially implemented, the Fatherland Front at all levels needs to uphold discipline, responsibility, determination, resoluteness, and decisiveness in action; perform "the right role, know the lesson" in gathering and mobilizing the strength of all classes and strata in society to unite to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and participate in building a strong Party and political system at all levels.
