The report of the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center shows that: In 2018,The provincial Agricultural Extension Center has developed 5 agricultural projects supported by the central budget. Of which, the project "Building a model and transferring the process of safe orange and grapefruit production associated with the value chain in the central provinces" is chaired by the Nghe An Agricultural Extension Center.

In addition, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has built 14 crop models at 20 implementation locations with a total cost of VND995 million; 4 forestry models at 5 implementation locations with a total cost of VND165 million; built 3 types of livestock models at 5 locations with a total cost of VND228 million; 8 aquaculture models, with a total cost of VND900 million.

In addition, agricultural extension stations have organized training for farmers, achieving 100% of the plan, ensuring the correct progress and content. Vocational training for rural workers is focused on. The final exam results show that over 95.2% of graduates are awarded certificates.
