The initial cause was determined to be due to many days of rain making the soil soft, the humus weak, and previously households digging mountains to build houses, which somewhat affected the geology. Photo: QA

Through discussion, Nghi Loc district leaders said that the locality has directed to fence off the landslide area, strictly prohibiting people from passing through. Currently, households are directed to evacuate to safe places in the coming days, because it is expected to continue raining. When the weather is sunny again, machines can level the landslide area to ensure safety before returning home. Photo: QA
