A sacred month of May has returned to Kim Lien (Nam Dan) countryside. In the development of Nam Dan today, there has been a big change in the sense of responsibility, working style, discipline, and administrative discipline among the staff, civil servants, and party members from the district to the grassroots level, thereby creating high consensus and solidarity among the people.

Implementing Directive 05-CT/TW of the PolitburoRegarding "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle", cadres and party members in Nam Dan concretize the requirements and tasks with actions associated with post-review remedies in the spirit of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XI, term XII). Nam Dan also associates the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW with the responsibility of implementing the movement to build new rural areas and model new rural areas for each cadre and party member according to their working position.

Among many typical examples of studying and following Uncle Ho, Hong Long commune was commended by Nam Dan District Party Committee for its achievements in building new rural areas. The previously low-lying and degraded intra-field traffic route has now been replaced by a 3.5 km long inter-commune concrete road connecting Hong Long commune with Xuan Lam commune; becoming the main route for people to go to Vinh or to work at the garment factory in Nam Giang commune.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Tam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hong Long commune said: This inter-commune road was invested in by the province but there was no fund for site clearance. And to widen the road from 3.5m to 6.5m, it was necessary to mobilize people to donate land. Specifically, there are 148 households affected, of which 124 households had agricultural land affected and 24 households had residential land affected. It is worth mentioning that among the 24 households affected by residential land, there was a household that had just bought land and built a fence, but the households had already dismantled it to open the road. 148/148 households agreed to donate land without receiving compensation. Not only this inter-commune road, but in Hong Long commune, recently, 6/6 hamlets have also been promoting the movement to expand and upgrade intra-hamlet roads, associated with upgrading covered sidewalks to ensure wider, more beautiful and safer roads.

The movement to build a new model rural area in Hung Tien commune has been actively implemented. Comrade Nguyen Van Ky - Chairman of the Commune Fatherland Front Committee shared: Each hamlet focuses on building residential clusters, model roads and many model socio-economic models. Accordingly, Hung Tien commune focuses on building model roads and building Thanh Dong hamlet into a model hamlet. Now, not only Thanh Dong hamlet but also other hamlets and villages have improved.

Each cadre and party member in the Nam Dan district political system is clearly aware of their responsibility in performing their assigned duties and tasks, changing their working style and manner to be close to the people, close to the people, understand the people, for the people and close to the work, close to the grassroots. One of the activities that clearly demonstrates this working style and manner is that the Party Committee and government from the district to the grassroots level increase dialogue with the people periodically twice a year, according to topics determined at each time and dialogue on each case and incident through petitions and reflections of the people.

Over the past five years, the district level has organized 15 thematic dialogues and the commune level has organized 150 dialogues between the Party Committee, government and the people.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee affirmed that through dialogue, many pressing and urgent issues of the people were resolved and resolved, because during dialogue, the nature was clarified and tasks were assigned to each level, each sector and unit for handling, and at the same time, there was a specific deadline for resolution; contributing to reducing people's frustration, reducing petitions and complaints from people; the relationship between the Party Committee, the government and the people was more connected, open and sharing.

The important thing is that through solving the immediate problems, ensuring the rights of the people, the people's trust in the Party Committee and the government increases. This is the core issue to create consensus among the people to carry out political tasks in the area, especially building new rural areas with the result of welcoming the district as a new rural standard in 2018 and continuing to promote.building a model new rural district.

INNOVATIVE WORKING STYLE

The contents of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW in Nam Dan district are included in the regular activities of the Party and mass organizations. In that process, we focus on highlighting good examples, actions and deeds to spread; along with that, we are fighting and criticizing incorrect thoughts or actions so that each cadre and party member can improve more and more.

At the same time, each Party organization, each cadre and Party member has developed a plan to register to "follow" in accordance with the professional tasks, capacity and strengths of each individual. From that registration, each organization and Party member has more responsibility to carry out, contributing to promoting the political tasks of the agency and the general movement of the district. That is to register to fulfill their responsibilities, solve work for the people; take on the responsibility of keeping a street where they live clean; propagate and mobilize people to build a propaganda flag cluster; build a green - clean - beautiful home garden; or save money every month or year to support the poor to build "Great Unity" houses or support to escape poverty... District-level agencies have also registered to take care of and help 1 - 2 students in difficult circumstances so that they can feel secure to finish high school. Currently, there are 169 students in difficult circumstances in the whole district receiving support from agencies and units.

Every year, each comrade in the Party Committee, head of unit and organization from district to grassroots level registers and commits to carry out 1-2 specific tasks.

Along with the registration of "following" by cadres and party members, studying and following Uncle Ho has also spread widely among all classes of people through many specific and practical activities. Every year, the district and commune levels organize to commend and reward exemplary collectives and individuals in implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW; associated with propagating typical examples on internal newsletters, electronic information portals, district radio and television stations, it has also had a spreading effect, multiplying typical examples. At the district level alone, 64 collectives and 91 individuals have been commended and rewarded.

With the achieved results, the Standing Committee of Nam Dan District Party Committee is continuing to direct each cadre, party member and people of Uncle Ho's hometown to be exemplary in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. That activity must be concretized in daily work, especially for leaders at all levels. Be exemplary in morality, lifestyle, behavior, and in performing political tasks; contribute to the successful implementation of the goal of building Nam Dan district into a model new rural district by 2025.
