Chau Nhan Commune Folk Song Club won First Prize in Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, Cluster III

On the morning of July 15, in Nam Dan district, the Department of Culture and Sports held the closing ceremony.The 5th Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, cluster III.

Attending the event were comrades: Quach Thi Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, Vuong Hong Thai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district, representatives of leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen districts, Cua Lo town and Vinh city.

The competition cluster in Nam Dan district has the participation of 11 Vi and Giam folk song clubs, with nearly 300 artists from Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen districts, Cua Lo town and Vinh city.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, most clubs participated seriously and responsibly, closely following the regulations to build a program with a reasonable structure, tight layout, and preserving the original elements of the Vi and Giam.

The Festival featured many quality works, with exploration, creativity, and new investment in content and form that were quite rich and attractive. In particular, many performances met the criteria of ancient melodies, ancient lyrics, and themes related to the specific characteristics of the local industry and profession, but still demonstrated the creativity of the new era...

Besides the veteran artists who play the core role in the clubs, this festival also features many young faces, some of whom are just elementary school students but have already practiced fluently the original Vi and Giam melodies with ancient lyrics...

At the closing ceremony of the 5th Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Song Festival, Cluster III, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Vi and Giam Folk Song Club of Chau Nhan Commune (Hung Nguyen); 5 Second Prizes to the Blue Lotus Bud Club - Sen Village (Nam Dan), Nam Nghia Commune Club (Nam Dan), Vinh Tan Ward Club (Vinh City), Hung Nghia Commune Club (Hung Nguyen), Nghi Thu Ward Club (Cua Lo Town).

The Organizing Committee awarded 5 Third prizes to Hung Dao Commune Club (Hung Nguyen), Ha Huy Tap Ward Club (Vinh City), Trung Do Ward Club (Vinh City), Khanh Son Commune Club (Nam Dan), Nghi Hai Ward Club (Cua Lo Town).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 13 A prizes, 12 B prizes, 8 C prizes for excellent performances and awarded the young actor and best performance award to Nguyen Cong Anh (born in 2011) of the Blue Lotus Club - Lang Sen (Nam Dan).
