On March 14, authorized by the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team on Food Safety of Nghe An province, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Management announced the Decision to sanction administrative violations of food safety against the business household Vu Cao Cuong, address Block 14, Le Loi Ward, Vinh City.

According to the decision, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Management imposed an administrative fine of VND3 million. The additional penalty is to temporarily suspend the tofu production activities of Vu Cao Cuong business household for 30 days from the date of inspection; request the business household to repair facilities, equipment, and production processes to ensure food safety; contact the Department for guidance, inspection, and issuance of a certificate of food safety eligibility according to regulations; request the People's Committee of Vinh City and the People's Committee of Le Loi Ward to supervise the implementation of this decision.

Implementing the decision, on March 14, Mr. Vu Cao Cuong's business household repaired and restored its facilities and equipment. Currently, Mr. Vu Cao Cuong's business household has suspended tofu production; however, it is still conducting business activities. According to the owner, tofu is purchased from another facility and then resold to retain customers.
