Implementing the Project of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee on merging the Party Committee Office with the People's Council - People's Committee Office of communes and towns, after more than 2 months of implementation, up to now, Con Cuong district has completed the merger of the Party Committee Office, People's Council, People's Committee in 13/13 communes and towns.
Accordingly, the first unit to implement the "One Commune Office" model is Thach Ngan Commune. The Party Committee of this commune held a conference to announce the merger decision on May 2, 2018. The last unit is Yen Khe Commune, which held a conference to announce the merger decision on July 16, 2018.
The merger of the Party Committee Office, People's Council Office, and People's Committee Office of 13 communes and towns in Con Cuong helps reduce 13 positions compared to before (each unit reduces 1 position), contributing to innovation, streamlining the apparatus, and effective operation.
After the merger, the units assigned tasks: 1 position in charge of the Party Committee and People's Council Office; 1 position in charge of the People's Committee Office; 1 position in charge of the clerical sector.
The model of “One office at the commune level” when successful will be flexible and will expand not only to the office block but also to departments and branches at the district and provincial levels. Boldly implementing, having a roadmap to supplement and perfect as we go, not being hasty is a consistent viewpoint when implementing Resolution 6 of the Central Committee (term XII).
