Do Luong police discovered and handled 20 cases, 72 gambling subjects
(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to detecting and handling gambling subjects, Do Luong District Police have detected and handled 46 violations related to fireworks, of which 9 cases were prosecuted, 13 defendants; 20 administrative cases were handled, 24 subjects were handled, and about 425 kg of various types of fireworks were seized as evidence.
On the afternoon of April 3, Do Luong District Police held a conference to summarize the peak period of crime suppression before, during and after the Lunar New Year, launching an emulation movement to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory and the 62nd anniversary of Uncle Ho's first visit to his hometown (June 14, 1957 - June 14, 2019).
During the peak period of crime attacks during the Lunar New Year, Do Luong District Police successfully destroyed a gang of robbers led by Tran Thai Hien, Block 5, Do Luong Town.

Detected and arrested 14 cases, 16 subjects using, storing, and illegally transporting drugs, of which 3 special cases were successfully solved.
Detected and handled 24 violations, including 12 cases of transporting and trading goods of unknown origin, 3 cases of illegal land exploitation, 3 cases of food safety violations, and 6 cases of illegal sand and gravel exploitation.
Regarding violations of fireworks, weapons, and explosives, 46 violations of fireworks were detected and handled, of which 9 cases and 13 defendants were prosecuted; 20 cases and 24 subjects were administratively handled, and about 425 kg of various types of fireworks were seized as evidence. 20 cases and 72 subjects were detected and handled for gambling.

On this occasion, the conference awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Police Director and Chairman of the Do Luong District People's Committee to 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime before, during and after Tet.
This time, the district police also launched and signed an emulation agreement to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory and the 62nd anniversary of Uncle Ho's first visit to his hometown.
