Nghe An police deploy storm prevention plans
(Baonghean.vn) - Today (August 29), Nghe An Provincial Police deployed storm prevention plans within the force and increased officers and soldiers to key areas to help people prevent storms.
According to the forecast of the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, storm No. 4 named Podul is active in the East Sea, directly affecting the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh.

The provincial police leaders requested the police chiefs of units and localities to strictly implement the directives of the Ministry of Public Security, the provincial People's Committee and the provincial police on storm response.
In addition, units closely monitor the storm's developments on mass media to proactively take appropriate response measures.

Carry out the work of ensuring safety for the people and deploying response in the People's Public Security force, especially focusing on ensuring absolute safety for forces and officers directly performing response tasks, working in the field and helping people in storms, floods, and flash floods.
Immediately after deploying the plans, the provincial police mobilized more than 200 officers and soldiers to key areas along with local police forces to help people prevent storms, reinforce houses, evacuate to highlands to protect lives and property; together with farmers hurriedly harvested rice and crops before storm No. 4 made landfall.
