Nghe An Police: From 10 deputy directors reduced to 5 in 2019

After the merger, the 4 highest leaders of the Nghe An Fire Police (formerly) were assigned by the Minister of Public Security to become deputy directors of the provincial police. “Currently, the Provincial Police Board of Directors has a total of 11 comrades, including 1 director and 10 deputy directors. It is expected that by August 2019, 5 comrades will retire and by 2020, the Nghe An Police Board of Directors will have only 5 comrades left,” said Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau.

The head of Nghe An Police also informed that before the restructuring of the apparatus, the whole industry had 55 focal points, after the merger it was reduced to 49 focal points, in which the specialized departments were reduced from 35 to 29. Regarding issues related to administrative management of fire prevention and fighting, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau said that previously, a department of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police examined and signed documents confirming the legality, but now it is temporarily suspended. "Activities related to administrative procedures such as: fire prevention and fighting appraisal, granting licenses to transport explosives... up to now, we are temporarily suspending, for now assigning comrade Tuan (Colonel Ho Sy Tuan), former Director of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police, now Deputy Director of Nghe An Police, to be in charge and sign related documents" - the Director of Nghe An Police affirmed.

Also according to Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau, Nghe An Police's determination is to complete the merger by August 31, 2018 so that the new leadership apparatus can officially come into operation.
