Education Trade Union gives over 265 million VND to take care of Tet for non-public teachers
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 19, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, the Education sector's trade union organized a visit and gave gifts to teachers of non-public schools in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, and Yen Thanh districts.
In recent times, the complicated developments of the pandemic have severely affected the work, income and life of teachers in general, and teachers in non-public schools in particular. Despite the difficulties and hardships, teachers have made efforts to complete their tasks, stick with their profession and ensure online teaching.
With the desire to express gratitude and share, the Education Trade Union organized a visit and gave gifts to teachers of non-public schools in the province on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2022.

Combining visits and understanding the living conditions of union members and workers, the Education sector union delegation visited,Tet giftsfor teachers in the three districts of Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, and Yen Thanh. In Quynh Luu, the delegation directly visited and presented gifts to teachers of Ly Tu Trong High School and Cu Chinh Lan High School. These are units that are still facing many difficulties and have been heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

During the working trip, the industry union visited and learned about the living conditions of teachers at Quynh Luu 4 High School. Here, the delegation visited and inspected the degraded dormitory of teachers, presented gifts to a teacher in difficult circumstances and supported 40 million VND from the fund "Union Shelter" for Mr. Pham Trung Binh - the school's IT teacher, who has many years of teaching experience in mountainous districts, has a difficult family situation, and is raising two young children alone.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation presented gifts to teachers at Tran Dinh Phong High School (Yen Thanh district), Quang Trung High School (Dien Chau district) and retired union officials.
In response to the affection and concern of the Trade Union, the leaders and principals of non-public schools expressed their deep gratitude. Reporting on the results and teaching and learning situation in the past year, the units pledged to make more efforts to overcome difficulties, improve the quality of teaching and learning and take care of the lives of teachers in the coming time.

This Lunar New Year, the Education Trade Union presented 646 gifts to teachers in the non-public sector, each worth 300,000 - 500,000 VND with a total amount of more than 265 million VND, taken from the operating budget of the industry's trade union.
