Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company does a good job of social security in Tuong Duong

Khe Bo Hydropower Plantwas built in Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province, which is home to Kinh, Kho Mu, Thai, Tho, Mong, O Du... ethnic groups and the lives of some families here still face many difficulties, especially housing problems.

With the spirit of mutual love, "helping each other", and responsibility to the community, Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company has coordinated with local authorities to support 300 million VND for households in Xa Luong commune.thatched roof house, dilapidated according to Decision No. 688/QD-VNPD dated June 11, 2020.

Along with supporting the removal of thatched and bamboo houses, every year Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company also supports hundreds of Tet gifts for disadvantaged households in Tuong Duong district.

In 2018, after storms No. 3 and No. 4 caused flooding in Tuong Duong district, Vietnam Electricity Development Joint Stock Company donated more than 2 billion VND to affected people and together with local authorities supported billions of VND to households in areas at risk of landslides who had to relocate their houses and properties to new places due to the impact of natural disasters.
