Voters in Anh Son: Policies are needed to support the development of local product brands.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 28th,in Cao Son commune,The members of the National Assembly include the following gentlemen:Le Quang Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Nguyen Huu Cau, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Police, held a meeting with voters in Linh Son and Cao Son communes, Anh Son district.

After hearing the report from the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies on the results of the 2nd session of the 14th National Assembly, voters in Anh Son district expressed their confidence and enthusiasm for the reforms of the National Assembly and the Government; they also raised many issues of concern.

Regarding the planning, training, and management of officials, voters in Anh Son expressed concern about the continued existence of some corrupt and degenerate officials and Party members within the government apparatus, engaging in embezzlement, bureaucracy, harassment of citizens, causing losses of state assets, and eroding public trust. They requested that the Government take strong, decisive, and effective measures to combat corruption and abuse of power.

Regarding the local situation, the tea plant is a specialty of Anh Son district, bringing significant economic value. Tea cultivation is a traditional occupation of the local people. Voters suggest that attention should be paid to solutions for expanding the area, exploiting and preserving tea varieties, and finding stable markets. Research into soil quality and weather conditions is needed to develop superior tea varieties. At the same time, policies should be implemented to support farmers so they can produce with peace of mind.

Voters in Cao Son commune are concerned about the implementation of Government Circular 86/2015 regarding tuition fee exemptions and reductions, and the provision of school meals for students. They point out that only children aged 3-5 years old are entitled to all benefits. Therefore, voters suggest that the government should have policies for all children of all ages, ensuring their equal rights, access to education, and enjoyment of these benefits.

Also at the conference, voters made recommendations regarding the Social Insurance Law. The new Social Insurance Law has many advantages for participants. However, those participating in voluntary social insurance are only entitled to retirement and death benefits; women are not entitled to maternity benefits. This regulation of the State is very disadvantageous to female officials who contribute to voluntary social insurance. They requested that the State pay attention and implement balanced policies.

At the conference, many voters from Cao Son commune raised concerns about the slow implementation of Decision 22 of the Prime Minister on housing support for war veterans. They also noted delays in the disbursement of benefits and policies. Furthermore, there was no specific support policy for locating the graves of fallen soldiers and bringing them back to their hometowns.

Many voters also suggested that the State should have policies to address the situation of many graduates being unemployed after graduation. Voter Ha Huy Tu expressed: “My family has invested in our children's education, and now we have two bachelors and one master's degree holder, but they are still unemployed. This is not only a waste for the State but also for the family. I propose that the Government and the National Assembly study and develop policies to address this situation.”

Cao Son commune still faces many difficulties and lacks adequate infrastructure. Voters hope that National Assembly deputies and relevant departments at all levels will pay attention and provide solutions to invest in building a cultural center and upgrading rural roads.

Responding on behalf of the National Assembly to voters' suggestions regarding the training of dedicated and talented officials and combating moral and lifestyle degradation, Representative Nguyen Huu Cau stated that this was one of the issues that the Nghe An National Assembly delegation had questioned before the National Assembly at the recent session. Accordingly, three solutions were proposed: Studying and internalizing Prime Minister's Directive 26, emphasizing that all civil servants must be pioneers in serving the people; establishing a streamlined disciplinary process; and being ready to dismiss those who fail to perform their duties well or harass the people. In addition, the National Assembly is also developing a bill to select talented individuals for the country.

Regarding the Social Insurance Law, Representative Nguyen Huu Cau acknowledged the contributions and opinions of voters and considered it one of their legitimate rights. He promised to bring this matter to the attention of the National Assembly in the next session.

Regarding investment in agriculture, Mr. Nguyen Huu Cau stated that the Party and State are very concerned about agricultural development, with the criterion of focusing on rural areas and farmers, issuing resolutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency associated with agricultural restructuring. Accordingly, agricultural land tax is exempted for people, and the goal is to build 50% of new rural communes nationwide. Therefore, the delegate suggested that the people of Anh Son continue to improve production, focusing on clean production, in order to build a brand for Anh Son "Gay Tea".

Regarding Government Decree 22, Mr. Nguyen Huu Cau affirmed that the 2017 budget estimates by the National Assembly were sufficient to ensure timely payments to those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, he emphasized the need for a resolute fight against the falsification of war invalid and sick soldier records, aiming to ensure that benefits are delivered to the rightful beneficiaries.
