Previously, 18 groups of 5 remote communes in the mountainous district of Con Cuong successfully held early elections with 5,079 voters participating in the vote, reaching 95.14%.
Today, there are 98 groups with 107 locations, 41,742 voters participating in the voting, including Con Cuong town, Bong Khe, Yen Khe, Chi Khe, Mau Duc, Lang Khe communes, Luc Da, Don Phuc and some locations in remote communes such as Mon Son, Cam Lam, Chau Khe, Thach Ngan.
