After listening to Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thanh Hien announce the results of the 5th session agenda, the 14th National Assembly had 11 opinions from Nghi My commune voters expressing their thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly delegates.
Voter Ngo Tri Sy, hamlet 13, Nghi My commune, proposed that the completion of the N5 route should be effective, serving the socio-economic development of the province and Nghi Loc district. "However, with the dense system of residential crossroads, while people's awareness of traffic participation is still limited, accidents often occur on the N5 route. It is recommended that the province and district pay attention to finding solutions to minimize traffic accidents and ensure traffic safety," Mr. Sy expressed his concerns.
Mr. Sy proposed that Highway 534 through Nghi Loc district be upgraded to Highway 48E, many sections of which are seriously degraded. He requested that the State soon invest in upgrading to facilitate traffic and economic and transportation development for people in the area.
Sharing the same view, Chairman of Nghi My Commune People's Committee Hoang Duc Tri emphasized that National Highway 48E is the key axis in the West of Nghi Loc, the vital road connecting Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Nghi Loc districts, but has been seriously degraded for many years. Localities and voters have petitioned to central and provincial agencies, departments, and branches and at voter meetings of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, but have not been invested in or upgraded.
