Voters of Dien Chau district: Need to have policies and measures to ensure food hygiene and safety

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 11, in Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district, candidates for National Assembly deputies elected in unit No. 5 and candidates for Provincial People's Council deputies elected in unit No. 7 had a meeting with voters in 7 communes of Dien Phu, Dien Tho, Dien Loi, Dien Trung, Dien Thinh, Dien An, Dien Loc to campaign for the election.

Ms. Cao Thi Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council inspected the posting of the list of candidates for the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council in Dien Loc commune, Dien Chau district.

At the meeting with voters, through the brief biography and action program of each candidate for the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council, voters highly appreciated the quality of the candidates, and expressed their agreement and trust to elect them to the National Assembly and Provincial People's Council on May 22.

Ms. Nguyen Van Chi - Director of Policy Department, General Department of Taxation, Ministry of Finance reported on the action program if elected as a delegate to the 14th National Assembly.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien - Principal of the Provincial Political School reported the action program to a large number of voters.

Many voters expressed their hope that, when elected, candidates must put all their heart and responsibility into their work, be closer to the people to hear their voices, and at the same time reflect that voice to the authorities with the highest spirit of serving the people.

Voters also raised many issues for candidates to pay attention to after being elected. That is, it is necessary to pay attention to proposing policies on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers; especially policies to promote production, from science and technology to agricultural product consumption for farmers, contributing to increasing income value per unit area.

There is a mechanism to regulate the percentage of land use rights auctioned for localities to invest in welfare projects serving the people. It is recommended that the Central and the province have drastic policies and measures to solve the current situation of food safety and hygiene.

Pay attention to solving environmental pollution; promote administrative reform, especially administrative procedures, in the direction of creating the best convenience for people and businesses; improve the skills and public ethics of cadres and civil servants.
