At the meeting, voters of Nam Can commune requested to repair and upgrade road 7b from Luu Kien commune (Tuong Duong) to Tham Him village (Nam Can). At the same time, soon concretize the inter-village road from the center of Nam Can commune to Nam Khien village because these roads are currently seriously damaged, making it very difficult for people to travel.

Voters also requested that agencies and departments should promptly allocate land and forests to each household for management and use to avoid land disputes related to administrative boundaries.

In addition, voters of Nam Can commune also requested that all levels soon have plans and solutions to completely adjust the administrative boundaries between the historical production status and map 364. Because map 364 has a large difference in land area of Nam Can commune compared to the production status between Luu Kien commune and Nam Can commune.

"This disputed area belongs to the protective forest, more than 3,000 hectares wide. This area has been cultivated by our people for a long time, but now according to map 364, it belongs to Luu Kien commune," said voter Lau Xay Phia.

Regarding this issue, since 2017, the Provincial Steering Committee 513 has also concluded to maintain the status quo of the signed map 364. Accordingly, this protective forest area belongs to Luu Kien commune.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang - Chairman of Ky Son People's Committee said that in recent years, he has worked with the leaders of Tuong Duong district many times to resolve the issue. In addition, the leaders of Nam Can commune and Luu Kien commune have also met and worked many times, but so far the people of Luu Kien commune have not agreed. While Luu Kien commune believes that the boundary should be based on the 364 map signed by the localities, the people of Nam Can commune want to adjust the map.

"I hope that people will follow the conclusion of Steering Committee 513. People also need to avoid being impulsive, leading to unnecessary consequences," Mr. Huy said.

In addition, delegate Le Quang Huy said that at the meeting, many opinions of Nam Can voters were very valid, and the relevant agencies and departments should consider and resolve them. Especially regarding the deterioration of the traffic route leading to the commune.
