Que Phong voters propose to promptly resolve difficulties in land management handover and forest protection
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 6, National Assembly Delegates from Nghe An met with voters before the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Quang Phong commune, Que Phong district.
Attending the meeting with voters were Mr. Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Nghe An province, and representatives of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

At the meeting with voters, on behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegates, Mr. Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Defense and Security Committee of the National Assembly informed voters about the time and contents expected to take place in the 7th Session, 15th National Assembly, term 2021 - 2026.
Accordingly, the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 20 and is expected to close on June 27. At the session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 10 draft laws, 3 draft resolutions, give opinions on 11 draft laws and consider and decide on other important issues.

Giving their opinions at the meeting, Que Phong district voters acknowledged and highly appreciated the National Assembly for its many innovations in organizing meetings, researching and promulgating many laws in accordance with the reality and aspirations of the people. At the same time, voters also sent a number of opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government and relevant ministries and branches for consideration and resolution.
Voters of Quang Phong and Cam Muon communes had 8 groups of opinions with 22 contents on economy, culture, construction investment, education, social security and allowances for cadres, civil servants and part-time village cadres.

Voters also made recommendations to the authorities to promptly resolve difficulties in the handover of land management and forest protection, and encroachment of 45 households in Chau Phong and Chau Hoan communes (Quy Chau district); build a project to relocate flood prevention in Chieng village; delay in paying compensation for clearing the power grid corridor in Nam Xai village; and request to build a boarding house for Que Phong High School.
In addition, Que Phong district voters also reported that National Highway 48D has degraded and does not ensure traffic safety. Therefore, voters suggested that authorities should pay attention to expanding Highway 48D; at the same time, upgrade the flood-avoiding road from Mong village to Quyn village, Quang Phong commune to ensure safety for people during the rainy season.

Policies on supporting ethnic minorities; policies for people participating in frontline labor; forest protection contract regime; regime for police officers, village veterinarians... were also reflected and recommended by voters to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of local leaders and departments discussed and answered a number of issues within their authority.
On behalf of the provincial National Assembly delegation, Mr. Tran Duc Thuan answered the issues within his authority. At the same time, he received voters' opinions and recommendations to forward to the Government, the National Assembly and relevant levels and sectors for consideration and resolution.
