Voters of Cua Lo town propose to adjust compensation prices for land clearance
(Baonghean.vn) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Xuan Son affirmed that the current compensation and site clearance policy is built on the basis of Government regulations and local actual conditions, so he hopes that voters will continue to support the policies and the province will be responsible for researching and resolving them step by step.

Worry about absent voters at meetings
At the meeting with voters, Provincial People's Council delegate Nguyen Manh Cuong reported to the majority of voters on the socio-economic, national defense and security situation in the province in the first 5 months of the year; key tasks in the coming time as well as the expected program and content of the 9th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2016 - 2021.
Besides expressing excitement about the development of their province, many voters also reflected and proposed problems and concerns that are arising.
Voter Hoang Hong Son (Block 13) expressed concern about the increasing absence of voters at meetings with elected representatives. This situation stems from two situations:
Firstly, voters attend meetings because they want to reflect on pressing issues or issues related to their personal interests, otherwise they have no responsibility to participate to contribute general opinions to society and the community.
Second, many opinions and recommendations from voters have not been seriously and thoroughly resolved by the authorities, causing voters to lose confidence.

From that reality, voter Hoang Hong Son suggested that all levels and sectors need to propagate to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of voters towards society; along with that is the concern and drastic intervention to resolve issues that voters petition, clearly affirming the time to resolve, avoiding general responses, and clearly answering any issues that cannot be resolved.
Some voters are also concerned about the current food safety and hygiene issue, which is causing insecurity and threatening the health and maintenance of the race of the people, when businesses use banned drugs, stimulants, preservatives indiscriminately, import cheap goods that do not guarantee quality; farmers use pesticides and herbicides indiscriminately...

In addition to general issues, Nghi Huong ward voters also reflected and proposed many issues within the ward's scope and territory. Voter Le Thu (Block 3) reflected that the No. 10 cross-road was planned more than 20 years ago but has not yet been cleared and constructed, while on this route, a number of hotels and motels have been built and put into operation; some residential areas have been built in plots, leading to blockage of water flow, causing local flooding, affecting production and daily life of some households when it rains.
There are also issues of compensation prices for agricultural land, policies to support career conversion when agricultural land is reclaimed; inspection, supervision, management of quality and prices of medicines at private medical and pharmaceutical establishments; orientation of architectural planning in the town; environmental protection issues...

Hope voters continue to support current policies
Based on the feedback and suggestions, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Xuan Son thanked the voters for their valuable contributions; at the same time, requested the Party Committees and authorities at all levels of the town to review the issues raised by the voters, resolutely and have a specific roadmap to resolve issues within their scope, authority and responsibility; along with that, focusing on removing difficulties in production and business for enterprises and people.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council hopes that voters will share with Party committees and authorities at all levels the process of resolving and handling some issues raised by voters, because the handling requires time, following the correct procedures and regulations of the law;
Promising to receive and fully incorporate voters' recommendations and proposals into the report of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council in Cua Lo town sent to all levels and sectors, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council also received and explained a number of issues related to compensation and site clearance policies, planning orientation for the construction of Cua Lo coastal tourism urban area; investment in urban infrastructure construction, environmental protection, and ensuring food safety and hygiene in the tourist urban area.
Regarding the province's compensation and site clearance policy, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed that the current policy is built on the basis of Government regulations and local actual conditions, so he hopes that voters will continue to support the current policies and on the part of the responsibilities of all levels and sectors, they will continue to study and resolve the issue step by step. The Provincial People's Council will also be responsible for recommending the Department of Construction to clearly guide the town's construction architecture./.
