Nearly 60 pressing issues were reflected
At the meeting, voters expressed their excitement at the general development of the province and city; at the same time expressed many concerns and recommendations for the province and city to take action.
Voter Le Van Quang (Hamlet 24) pointed out the reality that some investment projects to build apartments and divide land into plots for sale have inappropriate infrastructure designs, especially the drainage system is not connected to the common system, the traffic roads are higher than the ground level of neighboring residential areas, causing flooding and frustration for the people.
Therefore, it is recommended that the province and city focus on the quality of appraisal and approval as well as closely monitor the construction of works and investment projects and overcome existing problems.

Voter Nguyen Trong Huynh (Hamlet 23) proposed that the province and city need to have a mechanism to support blocks and hamlets to carry out mergers associated with investment planning to build cultural houses and sports areas to ensure the needs of population size after the merger and meet future vision, avoiding the lack of land for expansion in the future.
The issue that many Nghi Phu voters are currently concerned about is that in the commune, there are many projects that have been approved for investment for 10-15 years, but are being implemented slowly or at a sluggish pace, affecting people's lives such as the 72m road, Mai Lao Bang road, Van Minh enterprise project...

Other issues regarding compensation policies, site clearance for investment projects; handling inadequacies in resettlement areas; relocating electric poles on the roadway; handling the “bottleneck” on Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street… were also mentioned by voters.
At the end of the meeting, the delegates of the Provincial and City People's Councils directly explained and clarified many issues of concern; at the same time, they requested the Party Committee and the communal government to pay attention to propaganda, promptly provide information to the people as well as thoroughly resolve the recommendations and reflections within their authority.
Opinions within the jurisdiction of provincial and municipal levels will be compiled and proposed for consideration and resolution by the province and municipality.

At the meeting, 17 voters reflected and made recommendations on more than 60 issues related to the economy, land, urban areas, environment, policies, security and order.
Voter Duong Van Chuyen (Block 2) suggested that the province pay attention to attracting cremation projects in the province in conjunction with a plan to raise awareness among people to ensure civilization and protect the environment.
Voter Nguyen Thi Bao (Block 8) proposed that the city have a plan and allocate funds to relocate electric poles on Nguyen Huy Oanh Street.

Some voters also reflected on the lack of democracy and lack of public consultation in the implementation of some policies, such as the replacement of the tree system on Ho Tung Mau Street or the increase in environmental sanitation service fees from 8,000 VND to 12,000 VND/person, which was undemocratic and imposed.
Or the granting of business licenses to some restaurants and business booths of the city without consulting local authorities, leading to inconsistencies and some consequences regarding security, order, fire prevention, fire fighting, and environmental sanitation.
Some pressing issues related to granting land use right certificates; inadequacies in the city's drainage system; urban order management; socialization in education... were also reflected by voters, and recommendations were made to competent authorities for resolution.
