The First Skills Competition of Special People
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the first vocational competition for people with disabilities held in Nghe An. The final round held in Vinh city had 40 contestants competing in 4 professions: sewing, embroidery, civil carpentry and bamboo toothpick packaging.
After a month of organization, the Final round of the Nghe An vocational competition for the disabled began on April 17 in Vinh city. This is the first time the vocational competition for the disabled has been organized.

The contest is organized to encourage and motivate people with disabilities to overcome difficulties and assert themselves in social life; create opportunities for contestants to meet, exchange, share and learn experiences. At the same time, encourage the expansion and development of vocational training and transfer of skills to people with disabilities in the future. This is also an activity to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Day for People with Disabilities.

This year’s competition has 40 contestants selected from districts, cities and the provincial Disabled Youth Club, representing thousands of disabled people working in Nghe An. The contestants compete in 4 occupations: civil carpentry, sewing, embroidery and bamboo toothpick packaging.

The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the competition was held on April 18.
