Movement "Beautiful school - pretty class"
Every new school year, Nghia Dan district preschools launch the "Beautiful School - Pretty Class" movement. This movement is deployed in all 25 preschools across the district, aiming to most effectively implement the emulation movement to build "Friendly School - Active Students".

With imagination and skillful hands, preschool teachers have used locally available and environmentally friendly materials to create many types of useful, durable, and aesthetically pleasing toys and utensils from everyday objects, contributing to beautifying the school and creating excitement for children when going to school.
"Turning" waste into gifts for poor students
Every Saturday and Sunday, the Youth Union members of Nghia Long Commune (Nghia Dan) collect scrap to sell to raise funds for poor students. Since the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year, from funds mobilized at the grassroots level, the Commune Youth Union has given 30 white shirts to poor students and 15 gifts to students with difficulties, with a budget of nearly 7 million VND.

Ms. Dinh Kieu Trang - Secretary of the Youth Union of Nghia Long commune said: "Turning trash into money" is a very practical model, creating a widespread influence among union members and youth and is widely supported by the people, helping union members and youth to unite their responsibilities, care and help each other in life.

Not only helping with labor, the youth union members also go into the forest to find raw materials to build a playground for children to create a healthy and useful playground, while raising awareness of recycling and reusing used objects and locally available materials, contributing to environmental protection and saving costs.
