Congress of Tien Phong Commune Party Committee (Que Phong) for the term 2020 - 2025

During 2 days (June 2 and 3), the Tien Phong Commune Party Committee (Que Phong) held the 14th Congress of Delegates for the 2020-2025 term. Attending and directing the Congress were comrades: Truong Minh Cuong - Secretary of the District Party Committee; Le Van Giap - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee. Also attending were the Vice Chairmen of the District People's Council and People's Committee, heads and deputy heads of departments, branches, and mass organizations at the district level, along with 220 official delegates representing 484 party members in the entire Party Committee.

As the gateway commune of Que Phong district, Tien Phong has a total natural area of ​​nearly 14,000 hectares, a population of 9,692 people, with 4 ethnic groups living together: Thai, Kinh, Kho Mu and Tho. During the past term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee and people of Tien Phong commune have made efforts to overcome all difficulties to achieve many important victories.

The economy has positive changes, with 8 targets reaching and exceeding the plan, the growth rate reaching 7.52% (of which agriculture - forestry - fishery reached 5.41%, small-scale industry - construction 8.89%, services - trade 9.27%); average income per capita reached 23.11 million VND, the economic structure shifted in the right direction, the proportion of agriculture - forestry - fishery accounted for 42.61%, industry - construction accounted for 23.59%, services accounted for 33.80%.

The cultural and social fields have many improvements, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities have developed widely among all classes of people, propaganda work has been timely and diversified in many forms, the quality of education and training, population and health care has been increasingly improved. There are 3 targets exceeding the plan, 7 targets achieved and 6 targets nearly achieved.

Identifying Party building as an important and key task, in the 2015 - 2020 term, the Party Committee has focused on leading the synchronous implementation of many contents, paying attention to political and ideological education to raise awareness for cadres, party members and people; regularly paying attention to training and fostering successor cadres to create a solid foundation of knowledge, making an important contribution to leadership and direction. The Party Committee has achieved the title of "Clean and Strong" for 5 consecutive years from 2015 - 2019.

With the theme "Strengthening the great solidarity bloc of ethnic groups, continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, building a strong political system, striving to make Tien Phong a well-off commune of Que Phong district", the Congress focused on discussing and setting out goals, directions, tasks and targets for the coming term.

Main targets for the 2020 - 2025 term:

- Growth rate in the period 2020-2025 from 9 - 9.5%.

- Average income per capita reaches 34-35 million VND/year.

- Budget revenue reaches 550 - 600 million VND.

- By the end of the term, the whole commune achieved 16/19 NTM criteria.

- Average rice yield by 2025 will reach 58-60 quintals/ha.

- The annual poverty rate decreases by 4 - 6%.

- The commune meets the standards of "Safety in security and order".

- Annually, the Party Committee of the People's Council, including 2 years of the People's Council.

Comrade Vo Khanh Toan - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Tien Phong Commune Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
