On the evening of January 8, the Control Station Party Cell under the Party Committee of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) held a congress for the 2020-2022 term. Representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command attended and directed.
During the 2017-2020 term, the Control Station Party Cell thoroughly grasped, studied and seriously implemented the Directives and Resolutions of superiors, deployed professional measures, strictly inspected and controlled people, goods and vehicles passing through the border gate, firmly protected border security sovereignty, maintained political security and social order and safety in the area.

The task of managing the border gate is maintained regularly, ensuring the targets and requirements of the tasks set out in the 2017-2020 term. In the past time, the Station has completed immigration and border entry procedures for over 700,000 people, nearly 80,000 vehicles, and 254,275 tons of goods. Thereby, 39 cases/39 subjects violating regulations on entry and exit, regulations on border gate areas were promptly detected and handled; 87.1 kg of various types of firecrackers, 7.9 kg of opium plants, 400 sports bullets, 9 industrial detonators, 1 homemade gun and many other related exhibits were discovered and seized.
The work of Party building and unit building continues to be widely implemented. The Central Resolutions 4 (term XI, XII) associated with the implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo on studying and following the example, morality and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh are carried out with specific and practical actions.
Participating in giving opinions at the congress, delegates enthusiastically discussed and had objective assessments on the implementation of political and professional tasks of the Party cell, and at the same time proposed remedial measures for the coming term.
