Thai Ambassador experiences community tourism in Nghe An

On October 24, a delegation of the Thai Embassy led by Mr. Tanee Sangrat - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam visited Nghe An.

Mr. Tanee Sangrat and the delegation visited and experienced community tourism in Nua village, Yen Khe commune and Khe Ran village, Bong Khe commune, Con Cuong district.
Community tourism is one of the highlights in the economic development of Con Cuong district recently.
Community tourism in Con Cuong has been evaluated by travel agencies and tourists as one of the attractive destinations in Nghe An recently.
Coming to Con Cuong, visitors not only have the opportunity to understand more about the customs, habits and cultural identity of the Thai ethnic people here but also experience unique community tourism activities.

Experiencing tourism activities in Nua village, Yen Khe commune and Khe Ran village, Bong Khe commune, Mr. Tanee Sangrat - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam expressed his special impression when visiting the Thai ethnic people and living in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere.

Here, the delegation visited and experienced at the sites, all capturing memorable images of this land. At the same time, the delegation learned about the living customs and economic development of the local people, and explored the unique traditional cultural features of the Thai ethnic group in Con Cuong district, Nghe An province.

Through discussions with leaders of Con Cuong district and provincial departments and branches, the Ambassador highly appreciated the local tourism exploitation method. At the same time, he affirmed that the community tourism model, especially Homestay service, is an advantage in tourism products that need to be promoted.
However, to build a high-quality community resort tourism model and provide attractive eco-Homestay services to tourists, people need to be provided with proper implementation knowledge and the government should have appropriate investment.

On his part, the ambassador promised to mobilize and connect experts and travel companies to coordinate with localities and indigenous people to build standard models and connect tour routes for exploitation.
At the same time, promote community tourism of Thai people in Con Cuong district to Thai people and businesses so that the two sides can exchange and learn experiences, cooperate in developing culture and tourism, as well as restore and preserve traditional cultural values of the Thai people.
