Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Vi Ngoc Quynh affirmed: The 4.0 industrial revolution, including digital technology, is giving children the opportunity to exploit and receive endless information and knowledge; therefore, children also face the challenges of being influenced by unhealthy information and are at risk of exploitation and abuse.

Through the response campaign, it is hoped that authorities at all levels, organizations, families and schools will increase coordination in activities to protect, care for and educate children, especially during the summer vacation.

At the same time, organize activities to attract children to participate such as: Cultural, sports, entertainment and safe, healthy activities suitable for each age group of children; organize classes to teach life skills, self-protection skills and child abuse prevention; organize swimming classes, equip children with safety skills in the water environment, safety when participating in traffic; prepare children for a safe summer vacation.

At the ceremony, a commitment to implement "Action Month for Children" and "Safe Summer for Children" was signed between the District People's Committee and communes and towns.
