Ensure comprehensive forest management, protection and development

Con Cuong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise. Promoting the tradition of a heroic unit, in the past term, the Company's Party Committee has led the unit to comprehensively complete all fields in production and business; maintaining the role of forestry economy in the area, contributing to the process of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Con Cuong district.

During the past term, the Party Committee of Con Cuong Forestry Company Limited has promoted measures to expand the scale and quality of forest plantations. Saving costs and protecting the existing forest area well.

In the past 5 years, the company has planted 1,533 hectares of new forests, cared for over 245 hectares, and well protected 9,000 hectares; exploited and consumed nearly 5,628 m3 of various types of wood. The company has processed a number of forestry products such as: 1,064.8 m3 of semi-finished peeled boards³; pulp processing 1,049.6 tons; consumption of bodhi roundwood 4,095.3m³Revenue reached 22,166 billion VND, budget payment reached 753 million VND.

In the past 5 years, the company has supplied 2.72 million forestry seedlings in the area; provided 4,156 ornamental trees and urban trees; motel services achieved revenue of 2.248/2.5 billion VND; forest design services reached 132.1 million VND. The average income of employees reached nearly 4.5 million VND/person/month. Pre-tax profit in the past 5 years was 404.23 million VND.

In the Party building work, the Company's Party Committee has organized for cadres, party members, and workers to participate in studying all directives and resolutions at all levels. During the term, 2.7% of cadres and party members were classified as excellent in completing their tasks; 12.6% completed their tasks excellently, 70.7% completed their tasks well, and 14% completed their tasks.

Planted every year fromfrom 200-300 hectaresbig wood forest

The Congress has set out the direction, goals and tasks for the coming term with specific objectives. That is to protect and manage well 9,026.76 hectares of forest and forest land to stabilize the coverage. Annually, plant 20-30 hectares of new forests; effectively care for and cultivate 227.53 hectares of planted forests; build and protect well 186.6 hectares of transformed seed forests to ensure adequate supply of quality seeds for forest planting.

Implement large-scale timber plantation in the area through State-supported projects to reach 200-300 hectares/year. Promote the application of scientific advances in forest plantation, shift the structure from short-term timber plantation to large-scale timber plantation, strive to increase the forest plantation volume to 120-130m³/ha.

The delegates acknowledged the achievements of the Party Committee of Con Cuong Forestry Company Limited in the past term. In addition, they directed a number of key tasks that need to be well implemented in the coming term. That is, focusing on effectively implementing the mechanisms and policies of the Central and the province on forestry production development.

Promote the application of scientific and technological advances, improve productivity and output of planted forests, and introduce economically efficient forestry varieties into production. Focus on Party building, focusing on improving the quality of Party activities, and effectively implement the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism.

The Party Congress of Con Cuong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. elected 5 comrades to the new Executive Committee. Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Lam was elected to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Anh to hold the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary of Con Cuong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd., for the 2020 - 2025 term.
