Nghia Dan Party Committee has been ranked as Excellent in Completing Its Mission for 10 consecutive years.

In 2018, Party committees, authorities and mass organizations from district to grassroots levels actively innovated methods and strengthened leadership, proactively proposed policies appropriate to the situation, and promoted the combined strength of the political system, achieving positive results.

The economy has developed quite well, with a growth rate of 16.52%. The local budget revenue achieved a high result of 151.81 billion VND. A series of activities to celebrate "Nghia Dan - 10 years, a journey of development and receiving the First Class Labor Medal (second time)" were organized enthusiastically from the grassroots to the district.

Education continues to achieve many encouraging achievements, in the 2017-2018 school year it was recognized as an excellent unit, with 4 more schools recognized as meeting national standards and 2 schools meeting national standards level II. The poverty rate decreased from 7.62% to 5.2% (lower than the average of the province).

Notably, Nghia Dan District Party Committee is one of four district Party Committees classified by the Provincial Party Standing Committee as an Excellently Fulfilled Unit. This is the 10th consecutive year that the Party Committee has maintained this title.

Entering 2019, Nghia Dan continues to promote and perform well its tasks, striving to build Nghia Dan into the economic center of the Northwest region of Nghe An province by 2020.

On this occasion, 2 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 2 collectives received Emulation Flags from the Provincial People's Committee; The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee commended outstanding grassroots party organizations and party members.
