Vinh City Party Committee opens preparatory session for the 2020 - 2025 Congress

Speaking at the opening of the preparatory session, Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee said that at the preparatory session of the 24th Vinh City Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, many important contents will be implemented. Therefore, he requested that delegates promote a sense of responsibility, focus on discussing, contributing ideas, and unifying the contents to contribute to the success of the Congress.

At the preparatory session, the Congress elected the Presidium of 9 comrades; the Secretariat of 3 comrades; and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board of 7 comrades.

The Congress voted to approve the program, Working Regulations, and Internal Rules of the Congress; listened to the report summarizing opinions and participated in discussions and comments on the draft documents of the 13th National Party Congress and the Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Congress. The Congress also thoroughly grasped the basic contents of the Party's Election Regulations.

The 24th Congress of Vinh City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term will take place over 2.5 days (from the afternoon of July 15 to July 17).

The Congress will elect the Executive Committee of the Vinh City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; and elect a delegation to attend the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Nguyen Van Lu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee delivered the opening speech of the preparatory session of the Vinh City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

The Congress will approve the Political Report of the 23rd Vinh City Party Executive Committee to be submitted to the 24th Congress of Delegates, term 2020 - 2025; Focus on discussing and giving opinions to build Vinh City to be increasingly civilized, modern and prosperous; Pass the Resolution of the 24th Vinh City Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
