Nghe An Police Party Committee deploys tasks for 2019

In 2018, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the police of units and localities discovered many major criminal, economic and drug cases, which were recognized and commended by all levels and sectors; directed the investigation and clarification of criminal cases reaching 83.9%; very serious and especially serious cases reaching 100%; discovered and arrested more than 1,000 cases, nearly 1,500 drug criminals, seized 60 kg of heroin, 87.5 kg of crystal meth... of which 50 drug cases were broken, 9 groups of subjects illegally buying and selling drugs in the border area were hunted down and expelled.

The State management of security and order associated with promoting administrative reform continues to be identified by the Provincial Police Party Committee as a spearhead and breakthrough in 2018, the third consecutive year the Ministry of Public Security ranked first in administrative reform of the entire People's Public Security force.

With excellent and comprehensive results in all aspects of work in 2018, the Provincial Police Party Committee was ranked "Clean, strong, exemplary" by the Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the entire sector to proactively seek solutions to continue to advise on doing a good job of ensuring security and order; grasp the situation, mobilize the entire political system to prevent and combat crimes; thereby contributing to building a disciplined, elite, and gradually modern Nghe An Police force.

At the conference, the organizing committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Party Committee to 1 Party cell that met the standards of 5 consecutive years of being clean and strong and 7 Party members who excellently completed their tasks.

The Provincial Police Party Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives and 3 individuals who had excellently completed their tasks in 2018.
