Smashing carts, insulting and threatening police because of sidewalk encroachment
(Baonghean.vn) - After the police force drew up a record and temporarily confiscated the vehicle encroaching on the sidewalk, Duong destroyed his family's property, then insulted and threatened the police force on duty.
On the afternoon of March 23, Major Phan Hien - Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police said that he had handed over Ta Anh Duong (born in 1976, residing in Hung Dung Ward) to Hung Dung Ward Police to handle the act of disturbing public order.
Previously, at around 10:45 a.m. on March 23, the Vinh City Police Department received information from residents living around Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital (Ton That Tung Street, Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City) that in front of the hospital gate, many households were encroaching on the sidewalk and road for business. The Vinh City Police Traffic Police Team arrived promptly to check.

At 11:15 a.m., the working group made a record and temporarily detained the cart of Ms. Le Thi Le (1976), residing in Xuan Tien block, Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, because she illegally encroached on the sidewalk and roadway for business purposes.
After making the report, Ms. Le left, then returned a while later to ask the working group to let her push the cart back to bring the goods home.
However, when Ms. Le just pulled the cart to the house, Ta Anh Duong (Ms. Le's husband) destroyed the temporarily confiscated property, cursed, insulted, and threatened the task force with an iron pipe.

Immediately, the Vinh City Police Traffic Police Team coordinated with Hung Dung Ward Police to control the subject and bring him to the ward police headquarters for handling.
Major Phan Hien - Deputy Captain of the Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police said: In front of the hospital gates in the city, sidewalk encroachment often occurs, causing public insecurity. In the near future, we will strengthen cooperation with the urban order rapid response team and ward police to inspect and handle these cases.
