Cua Lo tourism recovers and "explodes"

According to the town's report, in 2022, after 2 years of being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism in the whole country and Nghe An tourism in general, Cua Lo tourism has gradually recovered. The total number of tourists reached 3,052,000 (an increase of 197% of the plan); revenue from service and tourism activities reached 3,218 billion VND (211% of the plan).

Through propaganda, creating a timely, transparent and accurate information environment, contributing to enhancing the position and image of Cua Lo to the business community, domestic and international friends, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals of the Resolution of the 6th Town Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.

At the same time, coordinate well to organize the writing contest abouttourismCua Lo in 2022; coordinate to strengthen state management of tourism, culture and sports, raise awareness and responsibility for Covid-19 epidemic prevention; promote and advertise Cua Lo as a safe tourist destination combining epidemic prevention with economic development.

Coordinate the organization of tourism stimulus conferences inside and outside the province, activities to promote and advertise Nghe An tourism in general and Cua Lo tourism in particular in provinces and cities; organize the signing of cooperation agreements, support the promotion of Cua Lo tourism; organize the opening ceremony of Cua Lo Tourism Festival in 2022.

In 2022, Nghe An Newspaper proactively developed propaganda scenarios, exploited information and topics to carry out propaganda content in print and electronic newspapers. In particular, the highlight of the propaganda work is that Nghe An Newspaper has accompanied Cua Lo town in propagating the successful clearance of the forest park area east of Binh Minh Street to create consensus, solidarity, and high unanimity from policy to action. On this issue alone, the Newspaper has had dozens of articles in publications with all kinds of emagazin, long form, clip, photo series...

In addition, Nghe An Newspaper has sent a group of reporters from the Social and Cultural Department to coordinate with the Television Department to follow the activities of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival 2022 to regularly update information. During the peak tourist season, every day on the e-newspaper there are 3-4 news, articles, and photo series about Cua Lo tourism. From there, it contributes significantly to spreading the image of Cua Lo tourism to domestic and international friends.

Strengthen communication and promotion

In order for Cua Lo tourism to continue to develop in 2023, with the goal of welcoming 3.4 million visitors and revenue reaching 3,550 billion VND, the Town has developed a content for coordination with departments, branches and units.

In 2023, the town will continue to organize cultural, sports, tourism and commercial activities and events such as the opening of the Cua Lo Tourism Festival; sports competitions; Street Carnival; FestivalHot air balloonand organize activities to link Cua Lo tourism with historical, cultural, spiritual relics and craft villages...

The content of coordination with Nghe An Newspaper is agreed to focus on promoting Cua Lo tourism on Nghe An Newspaper publications. Periodically build local pages of Cua Lo Town; increase reporting on the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Party and State.

During the discussion at the meeting, representatives of departments and branches agreed with the content of the report and proposals of Cua Lo town. At the same time, they suggested that the town pay more attention to preserving and promoting cultural heritage associated with tourism development; pay attention to site clearance, construction and urban beautification; arrange and organize business and service activities after clearing a series of kiosks along the beach; and promote tourism propaganda and promotion.

At the meeting, the leaders of Cua Lo town received the exchanged opinions. In 2023, Cua Lo will focus on urban beautification, environmental protection, infrastructure construction and investment attraction to accelerate tourism development.
