Speed ​​up the construction of the border patrol road through Thanh Chuong district

The construction of a road serving the national defense and security tasks of the border in Thanh Chuong district connects the Ho Chi Minh trail through Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district to Marker 10 of the border patrol road phase 3 (Km10+500 - Km14+974) with a length of more than 4km. Previously, the road was difficult to travel, the risk of insecurity for people was very high, and at the same time, due to the impact of the recent storm No. 4, many locations were eroded, some embankments and spillways were washed away by floods, people in the area had to build temporary bridges, the risk of insecurity was very high.

To complete the project, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia requested: Units need to clearly identify that the construction of roads serving national defense and border security is a very important political task to serve well the tasks of border patrol, economic and political development and strengthening the national defense and security posture on the border.

In the coming time, units need to focus all resources, people, machinery and equipment to speed up the completion of projects and ensure the quality of works. Landslides and damage caused by storm No. 4 must be reported immediately to relevant departments, branches and sectors for solutions to overcome and repair. During the construction process, regularly coordinate with local authorities and Party committees to promptly overcome difficulties and grasp the border security situation; relevant agencies strengthen inspection and supervision of construction units to ensure the completion of works according to the set schedule./.
