Implementing Plan No. 203/KH-UBND dated April 3, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Month of Action for Food Safety in Nghe An province in 2018, during the month, the Nghe An Province Interdisciplinary Inspection Team conducted inspections of food production, trading and processing establishments in the area.
As of May 3, 2018, the Nghe An Province Interdisciplinary Inspection Team has inspected 17 establishments and issued administrative fines to 6 establishments. The total estimated fine is 48.7 million VND.

The establishments violating food safety regulations include: Tam Truong Sinh Joint Stock Company - Mountain Goat Restaurant, Walking Chicken (Hamlet 13, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City; expected fine of VND12 million); Son Trang Investment Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company; expected fine of VND9.5 million); Tam Nong Development Cooperative (No. 22, Le Hong Phong Street, Vinh City; expected fine of VND4.2 million); Do Thi Tam Frozen Seafood Raw Material Purchasing Facility (Hai Giang 2 Block, Nghi Hai Ward, Cua Lo Town; expected fine of VND4 million); Song Lam Production and Trading One Member Co., Ltd. - Lam Giang Restaurant (Hai Trieu Block, Nghi Hai Ward, Cua Lo Town; expected fine of VND8 million); Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam Business Household (Tay Ho 1 Block, Quang Tien Ward, Thai Hoa Town; expected fine of VND11 million).
The main violations are: lack of sample storage cabinets; unsafe food storage; food without a contract proving its origin; expired food additives and ingredients; unsanitary processing areas; employees not wearing protective gear during processing...
