Proposed fine of 75 million VND for 5 people drinking during the epidemic season

On September 6, Thai Hoa Town Police said that the unit had prepared a file to propose administrative penalties for 5 men who gathered to drink while the locality was implementing the law.social distancing according to Directive 16.
Previously, on September 3, 2021, the inspection team for Covid-19 prevention and control, Quang Tien Ward Police discovered at the house of Mr. Pham Dinh Th. (born in 1964), residing in Quang Tien Ward, 4 people including: Ho Van D. (born in 1992), Ho Van Q. (born in 1987), both residing in Nghia Tien Commune; Dam Quang D. (born in 1966), Le Trung K. (born in 1967), both residing in Hoa Hieu Ward and the homeowner were gathering to eat and drink while the locality was implementing social distancing according to Directive 16 to prevent and control the epidemic.

Immediately afterwards, Quang Tien Ward Police invited the above citizens to the headquarters to work.
Pursuant to Point c, Clause 3, Article 12, Decree No. 117/2020/ND-CP dated September 28, 2020 of the Government on administrative sanctions in the health sector, Thai Hoa Town Police proposed to the Town People's Committee to issue a decision to impose administrative sanctions with a total amount of 75 million VND for the above 5 cases for the act of "Not implementing the decision to apply measures to limit mass gatherings".
