Proposing the People's Council of Nghe An province to approve the investment policy of the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College Project

To prepare for the 6th session (special session) of the Provincial People's Council, the Committee for Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the draft Resolutions.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. At the meeting, the Committee for Culture and Society and the Provincial People's Council unanimously proposed the Provincial People's Council to approve the investment policy of the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College Project.

The project aims to improve the capacity of high-quality vocational training and assess vocational skills for workers; Display and introduce vocational training products, implement training models associated with production and bring products to the market; Promote the image and introduce vocational training products to domestic and foreign partners and businesses.

Project investment scale: Construction of a 3-storey practice workshop with a construction area of ​​890 m2², total floor area of ​​approximately 2,670 m². Yard, internal area about 360 m²; fire prevention and fighting system; outdoor water supply and drainage system; vocational training and assessment equipment. The project has a total investment of 70 billion VND and will be implemented from 2022 to 2023.

Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College is a vocational training institution located in Nghe An province, established on December 4, 1998. This is a gift from the Korean Government and people to Vietnam. After more than 20 years of construction and development, the school is gradually developing strongly.

The school is one of 45 schools built according to the criteria of high-quality vocational schools according to Decision No. 761/QD-TTg dated May 23, 2014 of the Prime Minister.

Every year, the school trains about 3,000 - 3,500 students with 12 college-level occupations, 9 intermediate-level occupations and 9 elementary occupations. Currently, the items: 3-storey practice building, 2-storey product display and introduction house and other auxiliary items have not been invested in construction, limiting teaching and learning, especially high-quality vocational training.

At the conference, the Committee for Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council, unanimously proposed the Provincial People's Council to pass a Resolution on investment in the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College Project.

Emphasizing that the investment in building new items contributes to creating conditions for the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College to complete its facilities to organize teaching activities in a synchronous manner, promote and improve the quality of vocational training.

The content of the Resolution complies with the provisions of law, is consistent with the socio-economic development orientation of the locality, and is consistent with the capital structure.
