A second grader drowned while swimming in the river.
(Baonghean.vn) - P. and a friend invited each other to go to Na Co dam (in Binh Chuan commune, Con Cuong district) to bathe. After bathing, they both went home, P. went back to bathe and drowned.
On the afternoon of April 10, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Chuan Commune, Con Cuong District confirmed that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area. The victim was Lo Ung P. (born 2011), a 2nd grade student at Binh Chuan Primary School.

Accordingly, at 5:30 p.m. on April 9, P. and a friend invited each other to go to Na Co dam (in the area of Binh Chuan commune) to bathe. After bathing, both of them went home, P. went back to bathe again and drowned.
At around 6pm the same day, the family did not see the child return, so they informed the local authorities. The authorities mobilized functional forces to coordinate with local people to search at the scene.
At about 10:00 p.m. the same day, P.'s body was found at the foot of Na Co bridge, about 1.2 meters from the water surface.
It is known that Lo Ung P.'s family is in a particularly difficult situation. The mother left, leaving two children for the father to raise.
