Specifically, on April 14, while patrolling the Cau Giay Park area, the Hanoi Police Mobile Police Regiment discovered a young man driving a green Wave motorbike with suspicious signs. The key was not in the motorbike, so the police suspected that the young man had signs of theft.
When stopped to ask, the young man could not show his vehicle registration and showed signs of lying, so the police took him to Dich Vong Hau Ward Police Station, Cau Giay to take his statement.
Here, the subject said his name was Le Duy Thanh. Because he was unemployed and needed money to spend, he came up with the idea of stealing a car in the Mai Dich area, Hanoi. On April 14, Thanh stole a car here, but tried many ways to get the engine to start. The subject decided to run away on foot when he suddenly encountered the police force.
On the same day, the authorities found the car owner, Mr. Tran Van Tien (33 years old, from Nam Dinh) to return the car.
