Speaking more about this, Mr. Phan Van Thiet - Head of the District Department of Education and TrainingKy Sonsaid: Due to the geographical characteristics of Ky Son district, most of the district's students are boarding students, making travel difficult. In addition, currently, some parents of students in Ky Son district are traveling from epidemic areas to their hometowns for Tet such as Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Binh Duong, etc.

Therefore, to ensure the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic and avoid the spread in schools, the Department of Education and Training has proactively asked for the opinions of district leaders and the Director of the Department to let students of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools take a break from school from February 4, 2021 until further notice.
At Ky Son High School, students will also start taking a break from school tomorrow.
In addition to Ky Son, some other localities with students whose parents returned from epidemic areas have also given students a day off.
On the side of the Department of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hoan - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training said: Currently in Nghe An, the epidemic is basically under control, so students' learning is still taking place normally. However, the Department directs localities and schools to allow students to take local breaks depending on the actual situation to ensure disease prevention.

In case of absence from school, parents must be notified early so as not to affect family plans and avoid passivity.
Previously, according to the scheduleholidayAccording to the Department of Education and Training, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2021, Nghe An students will have 9 consecutive days off, starting from Monday, February 8, 2021 to Tuesday, February 16, 2021 (ie from December 27, Canh Ty year to January 5, Tan Suu year). As for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the industry, they will have 7 consecutive days off, from December 29 to January 5.
